The Dictionary contains more than 52,000 terms related to petroleum geology, exploration geophysics, exploration seismology, logging measurements, prospect drilling, well drilling, drilling techniques, flushing, well casing and cementing, oil field development, field operation, well completion, oil gathering and transportation, oil storage, pipeline construction and operation, compressor stations, production equipment, petrochemistry, oil refinement, equipment maintenance and standardization, oil economics, names of organizations, as well as more than 2,250 abbreviations. This is the first English-Russian oil and gas dictionary of this size. The Dictionary is intended for industry professionals, customs experts, oil exporters and importers, scholars, teachers, graduate students, translators, editors, and all those who read specialist texts in English.
