The English-Russian part of this Dictionary contains about 15,000 terms, while the Russian-English one contains about 13,000 terms relating to construction of parts, units and assemblies of motor vehicles, as well as the terminology of service and repair of vehicles, of the systems of the active and passive safety. It also includes the main terms concerning the systems diminishing the adverse affect of vehicles on the environment. The Dictionary has been compiled to meet the needs of many specialists in automobile industry, as well as of students and translators. The Dictionary also will be of great use to all those who read special literature on motor vehicles in English.
